When I was a little girl, my grandma taught me to sew. I loved everything about it - the fabrics, trims, patterns. By the age of 10, I was creating my own clothes and knew I wanted to go into the fashion industry. After graduating from London with a Fashion Design degree, I moved to Los Angeles and worked in the industry for 8 years. I started as associate designer in the Apparel industry in Los Angeles in late 90s. I worked my way up to production manager,eventually overseeing and managing 30+ sewers and cutters.

I moved back to Minnesota to be closer to my family. I have always sewn cushions and pillows for friends and family, but when a family member asked me to complete a custom upholstery project, I fell in love with upholstering.

I have always had a love for furniture and wanted to be able to use my creative sewing side to bring them back to life. After years of doing upholstery as a hobby, I decided to leave the fashion industry and start my own upholstery business. I love being able to transform an old worn out piece into something beautiful and functional. I found that I loved the challenge of working with Vintage furniture and Chairs. Each new project starts as an adventurous creative idea and ends with a masterpiece.
